Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 13/08/2026.

This statement covers the Tastebud marketing website (tastebudofficial.co.uk). It does not currently cover the whole Tastebud app (app.tastebudofficial.co.uk).

What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Website conformance

We have adapted this website in line with WCAG 2.2 guidelines, targeting Level AA. This includes screen reader and keyboard compatibility, a defined language setting, a clear content structure and heading hierarchy, image alt text, sufficient colour contrast, reduced-motion support, and accessible video/audio/file content.

App accessibility

The Tastebud app is under active accessibility review. The Tastebud app's embeddable allergen and dietary-filter widget, including the allergen data, cross-contamination detail, and safety disclaimer shown to customers, conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This has been verified through keyboard-only testing, automated accessibility scanning, and manual review of the accessibility tree and reading order across all supported visual themes. The rest of the app is being reviewed against the same standard on a rolling basis; areas not yet reviewed are not covered by this claim.
